+This git branch contains a version of Samba that is based on
+the 3.6 releases and contains several enhancements for the
+production use of Samba in a clustered environment with CTDB,
+especially with a focus on the support of some features of
+the GPFS file system, and a few patches that have not been
+accepted upstream yet.
+
+Initially, this branch will be _re-based_ from time to time
+on top of the upstream branch v3-6-test which collects the
+reviewed bug-fix patches for the next 3.6.X release.
