   8 to setup a donation system to allow users of Samba to make
   9 contributions to help cover the cost of running samba.org and
  10 developing Samba.</p>

  49 <h3>Why do we need money?</h3>

  51 <p>You may be wondering why the Samba Team needs money. The main
  52 expenses that we have are travel expenses for team members to the
  53 major Samba related conferences and expenses for running the main
  54 samba.org site.  We occasionally have other expenses (eg. small pieces
  55 of hardware and books) but that is less common.</p>

  57 <p>A good example of our travel expenses is the Storage Developer Conference
  58 (SDC) in Santa Clara. We usually have between ten and fifteen team members
  59 attending each year and while most of them are covered by the company
  60 they work for, we do need to provide international travel and
  61 accomodation for some of them.</p>
